Back-to-school hiring is here: 185 youth and program jobs open across SoCal

Every August, after-school programs, youth-development organizations, and education nonprofits across Southern California staff up for the new school year at the same time. This year's wave just hit the board: 185 open program, education, and youth roles across the ten SoCal counties, with more landing daily as organizations finalize their fall rosters.

Who's hiring

Organizations that run school-site programs hire per site, so a single org can post dozens of openings spread across neighborhoods:

• Think Together has 40+ openings and climbing: Program Leaders, Substitute Program Leaders, Older Youth Leaders, and High-Dosage Tutors across their school sites
• Boys & Girls Club of Greater Redlands-Riverside is staffing site coordinators and program roles across the Inland Empire
• SBCS and MAAC are hiring school-program youth leaders and early-childhood staff across San Diego County
• Easterseals of Southern California and the YMCA have child-development and youth program positions open

What these jobs pay

Site-level roles like Program Leader, youth staff, and tutors post between $18 and $27 an hour depending on role and experience. Program roles are the sector's front door
