About the role
Lessons from past extraction misses on these ATS platforms (look extra carefully for these):
- [paylocity] Salary range appears in a 'Salary Description' section at the very end of the posting, after Requirements; scraper should check final sections of posting body for compensation data.
- [adp] Salary range appears in a dedicated 'PAY RANGE' line near the top of the posting before the main job description body; scraper should check this section early.
- [dayforce] Salary range appears on a dedicated line immediately after the job title and before the location, which is standard ATS placement—scraper should check for salary on the first or second line of the posting body.
- [lever] Salary appears at the very end of the posting text, after the job description signature line and before the final 'apply' button—scraper should scan footer areas of job postings.
- [lever] Salary data is in a 'COMPENSATION & BENEFITS' section at the end of the posting; the board listing omitted this section entirely.
- [icims] Salary appears in two places: a 'Salary Range' line at the top of the posting before the job title, and again as 'Hourly Pay Range $23/hr-$25/hr' in bold text immediately after the title. The board scraper should check both the header metadata and the opening formatted text block.
- [workday] Salary range is located in a dedicated 'COMPENSATION:' section toward the end of the posting, after all duties and qualifications, before the benefits section.
- [isolved] Salary range appears in both a dedicated 'Salary Range' metadata line near the top AND repeated in the 'Schedule/Compensation' section; scraper should check both locations.
- [adp] Salary information appears at the end of the posting text as a single line ('Salary Range: 74915 to 74915 Annually') below the main job description body and work environment sections.
- [paylocity] Salary appears in a structured 'Salary Range' line near the top of the posting, before the job description body begins.
- [smartrecruiters] Salary appears at the very end of the posting text after all standard sections, in a line labeled 'Salary Range:'
- [lever] Salary appears at the very end of the posting after all job description content, in a 'Pay Range:' line—ensure scraper checks bottom of posting text.
