Pathways LA is looking for a compassionate, experienced, and bilingual Licensed Family & Provider Wellbeing Counselor to join our team!
- Downtown Los Angeles | Hybrid
- $85,000–$100,000 starting salary | Based on years of practice with full licensure
- Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week
- Hybrid schedule available
- Start Date: Immediately

What You'll Do
As our Licensed Family & Provider Wellbeing Counselor, you will:
- Provide trauma-informed counseling and coaching services to families and caregivers.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support designed to strengthen family wellbeing and resilience.
- Track outcomes and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Facilitate engaging bilingual workshops for families and community members.
- Develop trauma-informed curricula, resources, and educational materials.
- Provide mental health consultation and support to Pathways LA's direct-service childcare programs.
- Partner with families, childcare providers, and community partners to promote emotional wellbeing and resilience.
- Deliver at least 120 one-on-one coaching sessions annually.
- Facilitate at least 12 bilingual workshops annually, reaching approximately 360 participants
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, or a related field from a four-year college or university.
- Current LMFT or LCSW licensure is required. Candidates who are close to completing licensure may be considered.
- 2–3 years of experience providing one-on-one mental health services to parents and young children.
- Experience developing and delivering trauma-informed care trainings for families.
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, documentation, and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children, families, and early childhood professionals.
Preferred
- Experience teaching or working in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
- Experience working with diverse families and communities.
- Experience facilitating workshops, trainings, or group learning experiences.
