The Swim Instructor is responsible for providing adequate instruction within National Program and YMCA of San Diego County Guidelines. Provide excellent customer service to members and participants.

Not certified? No problem! GET CERTIFIED AT THE Y!

We offer paid certification training to candidates who have been hired!

Hiring Locations:

North County – Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA (Encinitas) - Must be available either 8:30am-12:15pm on Saturdays or 10am-2:30pm on Sundays (Not hiring for seasonal positions)

North County – Escondido YMCA - A Campus for Community Well-Being (Escondido) - Must be available Mon-Fri from 3pm-5:30pm and Sat/Sun from 7:45am-11:15am (Not hiring for seasonal positions)

Central – Copley-Price Family YMCA (City Heights) - Must be available for at least 1 day per week from 3:25pm-7pm (Not hiring for seasonal positions)

Central – Mission Valley YMCA (Mission Valley) - Must be available for at least 3 days per week and 1 weekend day - Weekday availability from 3pm-7:30pm and weekends from 8am-12:30pm (Not hiring for seasonal positions)

Central – Jackie Robinson Family YMCA (Southeast San Diego) - Must be available on weekdays from 3:45pm-7pm (Not hiring for seasonal positions)

Coastal – McKinney Family YMCA (La Jolla) - Must be available weekdays from 3:45pm-7pm and 1 weekend day (Not hiring for seasonal positions)

East County – Davis Family YMCA (La Mesa) - Must be available for at least 2 weekdays and 1 weekend day (Not hiring for seasonal positions)

East County – Cameron Family YMCA (Santee) - Must be available Mon/Wed or Tu/Thu from 3:30pm-7pm & Sat from 9am-1pm (Not hiring for seasonal positions)

South County – Border View Family YMCA (Otay Mesa West) - Must be available middays from 10am-3pm (Not hiring for seasonal positions)
