Family Partner - Dependency Drug Court Substance Use Disorder (SUD)Coordination (DDCSC) - Biligual
Under the supervision of the program manager, the primary role of parent partner is to provide peer supportive services for Dependency Drug Court (DDC) and non – DDC participants. The Family Partner provides skill support and resources to help DDC participants engage with SUD services. We're looking for a candidate who has personal experience with CWS involvement and/or SUD recovery. This role requires this lived experience to build trust with participants to help them utilize the services in our program.
Required Qualifications
- Personal experience with CWS involvement and/or SUD recovery.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Ability to connect with clients while maintaining effective professional boundaries.
- Available 2-3 evenings per week until 7 PM
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Works with participants to identify and overcome barriers to treatment participation.
- Provides ongoing skill support and case management services via telehealth, home visits, or community settings, during the day and early evening.
- Collaborates with Substance Use Specialist to meet client needs.
- Assists in completing screenings and referral linkage
- Assist in coordination to connect participants to SUD providers
- Support participants in initiating and continued engagement in SUD treatment
- Completes progress notes as required by Behavioral Health Services contract. Meets service delivery standards as determined by the contract.
- Attend court sessions and provide updates to the Court as required
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Schedule/Compensation
- FT - nonexempt position
- M-F 8 hour shifts. Available 2-3 evenings to offer sessions until 7 PM.
- $22-$24/hour. Salary will commensurate with experience and education. EEO.
Additional Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with a good driving record.
- Willing to use own, properly insured, reliable vehicle for the job (mileage reimbursed).
- Employment subject to clearances, including background fingerprinting checks, driving record, tuberculosis testing, and drug testing
