Registered Nurse I/II
Location: San Diego, CA
Clinic Registered Nurse I / Clinic Registered Nurse II
Village Health Center
At Father Joe's Villages, we believe that accessible healthcare is an essential pathway to recovery and long-term wellbeing. Throughout our Village Health Center, Clinic Registered Nurses play a critical role in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and other medically underserved populations as they navigate acute health concerns, chronic medical conditions, behavioral health needs, and barriers to care. Every day, our nurses provide compassionate, trauma-informed care that helps patients improve their health, remain engaged in treatment, and access the services they need to move toward greater stability and wellness.
What Success Looks Like
Our Clinic Registered nurses provide hands-on nursing care in a fast-paced, integrated healthcare environment. Successful nurses are clinically skilled, adaptable, and deeply committed to patient-centered care. They remain calm under pressure, exercise sound clinical judgment, and build trusting relationships with patients whose needs are often complex and interconnected. Success in this role means delivering safe, effective nursing care, coordinating services across multidisciplinary teams, supporting positive patient outcomes, and helping patients overcome barriers that can impact their health and wellbeing. Whether working in the clinic, community, or care coordination setting, successful nurses bring compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to serving every patient with dignity and respect.
